As a contributing art director at The New York Times, I collaborated closely with the news design and photo editing team to translate digital reporting into print, ensuring visual clarity and alignment with the paper’s editorial vision. I art-directed front-section features for the national print edition—many set off from the front page—shaping layouts and curating high-impact photography from leading photojournalists to support coverage of major global issues, including climate change, the drought in Afghanistan, and the conflict in Gaza.
